• for d-sub connectors: MIL-DTL-24308
• for crimpers: MIL-C-22520F

Manufacturers of mil-spec crimpers: DMC, ASTRO. Crimpers need a positioner and a handle, the positioner needs to match the pins, e.g. MIL-C-39029 for d-sub miniature.
